ABOUT CSAFRICA / MISSION STATEMENT & GOALS

BACKGROUND
- COUNTRIES, AFFILIATES, PROGRAMS & DONATIONS
- SERVICES AND CUSTOMERS
- CONCENSUS STRUCTURE AND COLLABORATIVE APPROACH

BACKGROUND
+ Concensus Structure and Collaborative Approach

CSAfrica's coordinated efforts operate within a structure of consensus.   As a coalition, we are more efficient and effective because we share skills, expertise and resources. We can exhibit the reduction of long-term costs and the increase in benefits by the utilization and practice of systemic sustainable solutions applied to operating structures.

Cooperation, Co-funding, Collaboration and Coalition

Combining our efforts highlights the importance and success of locally driven models of development to overcome poverty, restore the environment, and provide basic human needs for communities all over Africa.

CSAfrica provides access to and integrates best practices in education and implementation by:
  • Consolidation of resources and expertise
  • Avoiding duplication
  • Leadership and capacity building
  • Information Sharing and Coordination
  • Creation of training programs, workshops
  • Effective partnerships and alliances
  • Multi-level Stakeholder Analysis and Project Management
  • Emphasizing sustainable actions and program activities through integration

"Africa’s challenges are being tackled at different levels, and some successes have been recorded. But not fast enough.

The concepts of sustainable development, appropriate development models, and participatory development are not foreign.

We are aware that our children and the future generations have a right to a world which will also need energy, should be free of pollution, should be rich with biological diversity and should have a climate which will sustain all forms of life." 1991
